source celebrates a non-profit, international, multimedia art show and will present it proudly since there is not a lot of such kind in Shanghai.
The topic is wood that follows an exhibition that was dedicated to water and took place in May 2011 in Shanghai.
Wood as one of the ancient Chinese elements and wood as synonym for trees that provide us with fresh air, shadow, fruits and precious material is very elementary to all of us and of spiritual power to many of us. A tree is a synonym for life.
Another intend besides contributing to the local art scene is to get some nature- power into the mega- city.
With a super- central location in Shanghai and a very strong and big screen projection as central piece as well the other more quite, poetic artworks the exhibition wants to make EVERYBODY stop for a while.
More than an intellectual discourse there shall be affection. In the end it might be a new kind of romanticism.
